ABOUT US

Founder and CEO of 'Navigate Your Mind' is Chartered Occupational Psychologist Ms Yesim Guner, who has ensured that all Practitioners who work at the company are registered by the 'British Psychological Society' and the 'Health and Care Professions Council'. More recently, she became a co-author of a book titled ‘Young People, Employment & Work Psychology: Solutions and Interventions’.  Navigate Your Mind is made up of a team of Chartered Psychologists with 18+ years experience each working for London Local Authorities, private consultancies and also on freelance projects.

Areas of Specialism:
Navigate Your Mind have been advocating on behalf of children, teenagers, young people and families with a variety of needs, to provide specific tailored support, as each client is unique! Therefore, an initial assessment is carried out to ensure that correct information, advice and guidance is provided.

 

Qualifications:
The CEO of Navigate Your Mind, graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2003 in BSc Psychology, achieving an upper class 2:1 and completed a Masters Degree in Occupational Psychology in 2004 at the prestigious University of Sheffield. She
 achieved Chartered status of the BPS in 2010 and qualified as an Associate Fellow in 2011. As an advocate for children, young people and their families, the CEO highlights the importance of continuous professional development (CPD) and thus all Consultant Psychologists who work at Navigate Your Mind (NYM) are HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) registered.


Furthermore, all NYM Practioners hold an NVQ Level 4 in Advice and Guidance in addition to being fully fledged Chartered Psychologists and thus are also successful performance and career coaches. NYM Practitioners will often incorporate person specific aptitude and/or personality tests during sessions if deemed suitable and requested by clients to measure key traits linked to certain careers, learning methods or utilised as a tool to add value to sessions delivered.

 

NYM have been delivering ‘Therapeutic Art Sessions’ on an individual and group basis as part of their working practices in early intervention and prevention. These have been successful to date and feedback has been consistently positive.

 

NYM Psychologists and Practitioners regularly collaborate with experts in the field of mental and physical well-being, in order to ensure that they can offer clients the complete package (healthy mind, body and soul) tailored to their individual needs following an initial consultation. In doing this, all clients are given the best chance of success.
