Coaching & Mentoring

Coaching (19+) or Mentoring (7-19 years) is a structured, goal-oriented, confidential process that helps individuals on a 1:1 basis, to achieve specific personal or professional outcomes.

It involves a partnership between a Coach or Mentor (in this instance a Chartered Occupational Psychologist) and a client, where the Coach / Mentor facilitates growth, learning and change, plus will ensure that the client is challenged in their mindset, particularly if they are currently fixed in their views, rather than giving direct advice or solutions.

Here is what Coaching or Mentoring at NYM typically involves:

We begin with an initial 90-minute Assessment session (£180) - an essential foundation for your 12-week Coaching OR Mentoring journey.​​

This is not a one-size-fits-all programme.

The assessment helps us to:

1. Understand your background, emotional challenges, and current goals

2. Identify whether Coaching is the most appropriate support for you?

3. Tailor the Coaching/Mentoring sessions to what you need most right now

4. Create a safe Coaching/Mentoring framework to ensure meaningful progress.

​​It also gives you the space to ask questions, explore your expectations and build a sense of trust and comfort before commencing on this life-changing journey.
